Includes complete instruction on how to draw a room using Venue including:

  • Creating rooms automatically

  • Importing/exporting from outside files (Microsoft Excel, Text, CSV)
  • Emailing files and diagrams
  • Printing
  • Setting preferences
  • Placing architecture items: walls, windows, doors, arches, columns
  • Placing tables on the diagram
  • Using the automatic room calculators
  • Placing additional objects like plants, furniture, A/V equipment
  • Creating your own objects
  • Rotating and moving objects
  • Free drawing shapes (circles, ellipses, rectangles, etc)
  • Naming Areas
  • Scaling and zooming
  • Dimensioning
  • Recommended Boundaries – setting appropriate spacing for guests and staff

  • $500 for the first 10 students*
  • $20 per person for each additional person over 10

Course includes 6-8 hours of instruction, workbook, lecture and lab (hands on instruction) and a certification of completion.
Facility and personnel requirements:
  • Training or conference room facility equipped with necessary tables, desks, and chairs for each student
  • One PC per student where each PC has a licensed copy of venue installed.
  • Student should have fundamental knowledge of computer operations.
